OUR ORIGINS

We created Good Fortune Handmade Jewelry in the early winter of 2025. It had been an emotionally dark winter here in the U.S., and physically dark and cold in Seattle. In search of reconnecting with passion and joy on days it was too dreary to be out in the garden, we found ourselves picking up a craft we had set down years ago. In this particular time, we felt inspired by the shine, loveliness, and unique qualities in each gemstone. We found inspiration and dedication in this process; jewelry making became healing and transformative in itself. We hope that this origin story is felt in the pieces we've created.

Hello! We are partners who share a love for exploration, creativity, aesthetic, and style. One of us is the primary jewelry maker, and the other brings a combination of photography, marketing and technical work to Good Fortune. We thoroughly enjoy collaborating with each other, creating new ideas, going on sourcing trips, and helping the other out as needed.

What started out as a casual hobby turned into a passion/side project we have built into daily life. Through jewelry making and owning a small business together, we've found a new sense of fulfillment and depth of relationship. When we aren't crafting, we continue to work our day jobs, and spend time with our family, cats, garden, and community.
